Default Just won't go

A mate of mine has built a cossy up from a rolling shell the engine and box etc came out a one we scrapped but it just won't start it's sparking, checked timing ok, changed crank sensor, it's got loads of fuel pressure but seams like the injectors aren't firing. Any ideas guys? What triggers the injectors to fire? It's a g plate 4x4 running an l8 all out of a running car.

Is there power to the injectors.Make sure the plugs on the bulk head panel have a good connection.

Try this for the wiring diagram if you get stuck.

went and picked up a saph cossie in the weekend with my brother, now we have one each. Just about home when it flat died. Spark cranked etc. Found a cracked coolant temp sensor plug (under inlet manifold near the rear of the engine) the blue one had fallen off and engine did not run without it. Worth a look!

The 'phase sensor', although IIRC this won't prevent a 4x4 (L8) from running, as with it's extra intelligence it can use the battery voltage as a reference, but check this anyway, with a L1/L6 this will create a non starter.

Also check the 'CTS', an open circuit here will cause the car to run massively rich, which can also lead to a non starter.
