4x4 cosworth help
Today I wired in a new 044 fuel pump plus new wiring loom. Can started and ran spot on. Next thing I was out just driving to my mates. At the time I was doing 50mph went to put my foot down it came on boost and bang big cloud of white smoke running on 3 cyilders and then cut out... Got the car tow home first thing cheaked compression all 4 cyilders are the same around 150 psi.. Used a bore scope and found number 3 was full of fuel!!.? Checked injectors and changed with my standed ones still the same turn over and not fire bore still has fuel in. Checked spark all ok.. Changed my stage 3 chip back to stage 1 still the same turns over and fills number 3 with fuel only thing I can thing of is the ECU gone up the shit!?. Any help would be great as I am lost and don't no wot to try next.

That's wot I am think if I have done something to short the ECU out when i was tryibg ti work out how to wire up the group A coil I don't want buy one if its not that plus my mates all have 2wd ones so not much help.

Not entirely sane
It could be a dodgy wire to the No. 3 injector. They are fed with 12 V from ignition feed, the ground is switched by the ECU. If the ground wire to the injector is shorting to earth, the injector will fire continuously.

So today I have spent time checking all the wiring to the injectors etc. all seem ok. I have took the injectors out and turned the engine over to see how they are working and all spaying right. Cylinder 2/3 full of fuel.. I have sucked all the fuel out and wot I can't work out is why there still fuel some how getting in there when there no fuel lines/injectors on the enigne!?. I no the engine oil I the sump has fuel in so need to drain but trying to work out if the map señor or fuel pressure reg has failed to do this doesn't make sence as all I have fitted was a 044 fuel pump and five miles down the the road its now broken

it will be ok ,had a 3 door towed to me years ago that had been everywhere and had everyone baffled but i got on to the fault after removing the injector rail with injectors and engine was still filling up with fuel, that turned out to be the fuelpump, when i checked fuel pressure the pump was putting out 8bar,check the pump, hope that helps,if pump faultly it will burst new reg

Part of the Furniture
I have had the same problem and it turned out that the return pipe to the fuel tank was blocked, resulting in the regulator to split.....
when you put the new reg on, check what pressure you have
when you put the new reg on, check what pressure you have
