Well they did the rack at the same time, and after I picked it up took it to a mate who found they hadn't even put bolts in the rack. That's when I knew what a bunch of cowboys they were, now it's come back to haunt me :-(

madness, definitely stick to who you know for sure, last time i went to a garage on recommendation they royally took the piss, i wanted a remap, they fucked it up and blew the transponder in the key and said it was my fault! apparently if you drop a car key the transponder can randomly give up a few weeks later...

i always do my own work for this reason i cannot trust my car with anyone else.. the only reason i sent the car above to another garage was because i dont have mapping facility's at home. The only other time my car goes to someone else is for MOT and thats with a guy whos done all of our familys car's for years and he has pride in his garage..

I now use LMC Autos in heaton moor, they know there stuff, and they make sure everything right before the car leaves them, they even had the bottom arms off mine 4 times just to make sure the car was sitting right, took them the whole day to sort it, but they wanted to know it was right.

Any major work I get Geoff at Chorley street garage to it, if it's a bit involved he sorts it. But basic stuff I use LMC because it's closer

I makes it worse because he was aware of the child seat in the back.

Well Ive told a few people who know them personally, the lad that was doing the work knows them personally so he's also gonna have words.

After that rack mate I never went back, and for this to come back after all that time ago to bite me on the arse is just shit.

What makes it worse Tim is unfortunately mine is not an isolated incident and other people have their own horror stories, the words out anyway as you can see by andyracers comments, they are known in the area as cowboys.
