If a sensor is open circuit, the light will be on constantly.

I just had this on a mondeo. Light constantly on and it was a sensor.
I know its not a older cossie setup but the light will stay on for a sensor.
I paid £20 for a new one. My guess is yours will have a cossie premium.

As said almost certainly a sensor.

Easy to test with a DMM, each sensor should have circa 1K Ω resistance.

They are the same as any other model or a MK3 Granada as all use the same 'Tevas' system, however to buy new from Ford you will by looking around £150!
