I tried my cossie with the dump valve off and thought the car felt laggy than with it on.
yep they are slightly laggier without them they are a neccesity on some modern turbo's as well because the "fluttering" as people call it is the turbine stalling and starting very quickly which puts a lot of strain on the shaft and a lot of modern turbo's have very thin shafts i presume to aid spool up time and cant handle the "fluttering" like old school turbo's can
looks like ill be getting a bailey dv26 twin piston also as im at it i will prob be after a k&n cone or group a cone but agian im not sure whats best advice plz
I once took the hose to my dump vavle hose off the dump valve and the chatter was so emense (imo) lol i thought the actuator rod could have snapped . So thats why at the mo my dump valve is staying. Dont want to fook my turbo
