Default Sierra Cosworth Car Battery....

Morning all.....

Could you please advise whats a good car battery to get, the one I have currently has given up and looks so small, does not even fill the battery tray.

Any help will be appreciated.

wrong section!


But , i always ran a transit diesel batterys in my sierras due to the stereo.

Cant remember the rating tho? think they were 700A 75Ah

Mines a 097, small type as you say does'nt fill the battery tray and is fine...

Yeah, think its an 099, same as 097 but slightly longer and higher ah and cca

I've recently changed to the next size up from the 097 - make a massive difference to cranking! Also don't get the engine dipping slightly when all the electrics are used.
