Sunroof glass removal
Help please
AS stated i need to remove the glass out of my 2wd sapphire ,
i am removing to treat a little bit of rust on it whats the best way to remove the glass
is it easier to remove the complete sunroof to do this, there are 3 fixing screws to the frame as far as i can see and two of them look easy to get to once its tilted up,
but the final screw towards the front of the car looks near impossible to get to
can anyone advise before i start to take it out
i will be removing it this weekend so any help or photos would be great thanks again

Doing same on mine this weekend as my sunroof glass is knackered. Way to get a the 6 screws is to tilt it up but im changing the lot as the screws are rotten blobs. I have been told that remove handle & then 2 screws under that panel then undo the screws securing to the frame then simply pull/slide the lot out (put into open/slide before undoing the handle though!)

Sunglass removal
Hi Killa Paul,
I recently tried to repair my sunroof as well. I know the in's and out's.
Have your sunroof lie flat, take the 3 retaining screws out, then retract the frame using the winder.
then tilt the sunroof up and now you have access to 2 screw's on either side of the tilt arms that tilt the window.
Once you remove the screws (this can be difficult it there's corrosion - use some lubricant to penetrate for a while) carefully unclip the glass panel and now you have access.

To remove the screws I sat in the car.
Just looking at some old pics. There are infact 6 screws, 4 of which can be seen once the sunroof is tilted and the 2 right in front are a bit of a struggle to reach.
Unfortunatly the 2 front one's i got to were blobs of rust. It was very difficult to break off without breaking those retractable/lift arms that hold the glass panel.
See pics below to give you an idea
