Hi all i am in the process of rebuilding a set of 4x4 rear calipers.They are all stripped and shot blasted my new seal kit has arrived and there is a seal i am unsure about. There are three for the handbrake lever one is a dust seal which sits at the top of the lever rod, one is a o-ring which is for the threaded wind back piston rod, and the other is a lipped seal which im unsure were it goes as i didnt see one like it when i stripped them.Has anyone rebuilt these calipers before who could tell me where they go many thanks.

 

Just doing mine - the 3rd seal is for the piston - remove the circlip and star and copper washer and remove the large part in the base - the seal is on the other end remove but note which way it is fitted before removal
