Default cosworth pas onto base model will it fit?

does anyone know if a saph 2wd cosworth power steering rack fit fine into the standard base model 3 door front crossmember? and if the lower steering column joint will also fit or is it a different size?

I should think it would fit onto a Pinto powered model? You may need a different pulleys though, as PAS models had two drivebelts.

Would have thought you would need a cosworth steering universal joint as well, as I know these are different to other models, presume the column is the same though, think from memory it is triangular in section where it comes through bulkhead

well this is the part im worrying about whether itll need changing or not

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-SIERR...07764596674406

not sure of its correct part name but i heard before that a 3 door cosworth one is different to a saph 2wd cosworth one and so therefor does that mean a 3 door cosworth and 3 door base model sierra have the same one or will they be different?
anyone ever fitted cosworth power steering to a base model 3 door before?

There are lots of different lengths. Yours may fit as it is. But you could have to knock in or pull out the end of the triangular column section.
