should really have a plate put in like this then fully welded up, much stronger

Def do it with a plate... and a proper strong welder. Will be no hassle then.
Its the half arsed jobs that give them a bad name (oh, and the people who can't drive with a locked diff obviously, lol).

I had one in my old saph for 2 years. indestructible. great fun for arse out. and peanuts to do.

but crap when turning in tight spaces, parking etc.

and i found it difficult to donut in small spaces with it. maybe i needed more practice but was great for general drifting around.

Oh and it made the car rubbish at taking fast corners without being twitchy but what do you expect.

i have a cossie up on standas with a unknown/broken diff maybe ,all i know is you would have to be sansom to turn the wheels ,is this normal on a welded diff or does it sound broken

cant be arsed opening it up atm lol

They're great on the road. I've done silly speeds on track too 100% gripping with them. Never seen any problem. Not even that bad when manoeuvring, just some skipping, but looks cool as fuck!
Remember the likes of the RS500 BTCC cars sometimes ran locked diffs, never did them any harm!

ive nearly worn out a pair of rear tyres on my e36 and they've only been on a week been twice on my luchbreak today

3 times on xmas day, twice on boxing day and xmas eve

i dont even bother with the stereo anymore as i prefer to hear the engine and my passengers screaming
