Need to low CR on Sierra 2.0 DOHC turbo
As stock it has 10.3:1 and I want to lower it in order to increase the boost pressure. Now It has around 9psi
I have low budget, so for now forged pistons aren't an option.
I think I have a few options (or combine them):
what do you think?

I think I have a few options (or combine them):
- Use twice multilayer metal headgaskets or one wider than stock (stock 1.5mm)
- Find second hand pistons from another car that could be a direct fit in my rods (stock: bore=86mm stroke=86mm)
- remove material from combustion chambers
what do you think?

decompretion plate would work. you wouldent likly be able to remove enough material from the combustion chambers to lower it enough.
get a plate made up in the shape of the head gasket and use 2 plates either side of it
