for any body who has done this conversion, could they tell me what your supposed to do with the 2wd prop that bolts straight on. The angle on the prop is very severe. ie leavs the back of the box, comes down to the doughnut and back up to the diff, shorly this aint right. Cheers

I cant get my mount (6177696) fit properly, do you guys have any pics on how it sits on the car please?
Here's how mine is at the moment, or are we doing something wrong?
As you can see on the right side it's way to low, and if we turn it around it does not match the sliders

it's defo the wrong way round. if you move the bolts they should line up. i did mine with no problems. it should line up unless something else is wrong.

It's the mount off an auto sierra you need, that should be the code thats posted above. How are you trying to fit the mount, make sure the box is lined up correctly and all the way in, there should be no way why it doesn't line up, the shells are almost pretty generic for transmission options.

All sorted

Problem seem to be the original bracket were the mount fits on to was about a inch to far backwards.

We've put one from a MT75 rwd on which lines up with the holes and all fine

On the later shells there are 2 slots on one side and a single slot on the other to let any box fit any car plus you have the sliding ability because ford tolerances were "give or take an inch and no one will notice"
