Not at all hard to get, but most only need brushes and a groove clean out anyway.
Don't pay over the odds, around £100 inc delivery for a brand new one, what's wrong with yours exactly ?

A BOSCH starter by any chance ?, these solenoids are famous for issues relating to sticking in the off position, usually worse when hot, allowing to cool often gets them ok again, but there is a FREE cure, that's 100% effective.
Where this is, as is usually the case, the solenoid sticks due to the varnish wearing off of the bendix slide, the "piston" type device inside the main body of the solenoid.
To fix simply take apart, and using some old knackered 1000 grit wet and dry, rub the inside of the solenoid till the particles that have jammed up the piston are removed, clean up piston.
It's never failed for me in over 20 years.
