Default Steering Rack - Who to use for reconditioning

I'm currently restoring my 3 door and was considering having the steering rack refurbed. Any ideas who to use? Preferably in the Derby/Nottingham area.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers
Kevin

just fitted a recon rack on mine (saph 4x4). £120 odd from greg edmonds in south wales. How many miles has your rack done, is it really worth getting it done?

85,000 miles. I'm restoring at the moment and the engine is out so thought it seemed a good idea?

Mine had only done 76000 odd so i wern't too impressed, my previous sierra had done 115 000 before i sold her, rack still going strong, typical .

Its easy enough to remove with the engine in, just awkward, the alternator got in the way with mine so had to be removed.

Don't know anyone around Derbyshire, or anywhere in england really, so can't help further, sorry.

Had my rack off my 3dr cos reconditioned as it was leaking & failed MOT, cost £95 at a local place in Medway Kent, picked it up in the morning & they delivered it back the same day.

Cheers Simon.
