ok this may seem dumb but i need some help im putting a cossie engine in my mk2 escort, engine in and done just starting to wire it up and cant find the water temp sensor its a 4x4 head running a 2wd thermosat

the sender for the gauge (single wire) is towards the rear of the head under the inlet manifold
