Hi all. I am after a .55 housing for a T34 Turbo. Where is the best place I can get this from. I know they are not easy to find. I have a .63 housing, But I dont really want to fit this.

turbo technics sell them, but they arent cheap!
better off waiting for one to come up on ebay or try one of the breakers maybe.
just out of interest, why are you going from a .63 to a .55?

I have not fitted the .63 as yet. I am still on a T3
I have a .42 and a .63 but no .55
I did not no that you can buy them new. I thought it was just a old style limited run housing.

Ray,
Don't take this the wrong way mate, BUT if it were me i'd fit it with the .63 housing bud, the difference in LAG as people call it will hardly be noticable from the .55 and you'll be abit more top-end too on the .63, best move i made mate.... remeber i've just come form the exact same Turbo as you, you'll gain near on 70-80bhp with the T34.63 from the T3...
Edited to say,
What chip/Injectors are you running now mate??

Pete and LHD, I am still on greens and a stage 3 chip. My next move is to get some bigger injectors. Maybe Siemens 55s.
I though .55 is a good place to be. I am running a T3 so I am use to the quick response of the Turbo, So I was just thinking that I would not of liked the jump from T3 to T34.63 on greens. I might give the .63 a go though.
(ps) I got myself some upgraded discs and DS2500s to fit under the CXNs.
Cheers

Ray,
Yes ditch the 803s mate, 55s will be great, i have 72s only because i had them here and Karl can map with them anyway, abit over-kill for my Spec but they work perfectly.
As for the Lag, trust me Ray, you'll hardly notice it, just use your gears differently.. what you will notice is though mate that lovely pull right through to 7-7.5k on the T34.63 where-as the T3 is dieing @ 6-6.5k..
T34.63 allday long for me bud....

Pete, Well explained mate. Think I am sold..
2.3 bar or 33 psi on the T34.63 is that safe?. I do think the limiting factor though will be the greens that I am running.

a t34.63 will outflow the green injectors; so siemens 55'lbs would be a wise choice. i can highly recommend msd chip. + siemens 55's, t34.63, 2 bar of boost (30psi) should see 370hp - that's assuming you have a 500 style cooler
