Default sapph airboxes that are modedd

Curious to know what people do to mod the standard airbox on the sapph that allows the chatter sound??

i cut most off the front off mine and drilled the bottom, its looks better in the bay with the box but i think it sounds shit, much prefere the induction of a big cone filter

i still have it if your after one, its mint to

thats why i was comtemplating this paul as i too thought it looks better but i dont want to lose the chatter.lol

dont suppose you have any pics of the air box?i ahve a spare lying aroung waiting to get moded!!

My T3 chatters perfectly well through the airbox, and it's unmodified.

If you mean you want it louder, the only way to do that is to replace the airbox with a cone.

i can get some for you tomorow mate, you have to cut them around abit if you have a 500 cooler, you also have to chop an inch or so off the turbo to intercooler hose

i have already got a cone filter mate but was comtemplating putting the standard box back in,dont want it louder just dont wana lose what i have

Haven't you sorted your leaks yet cozmeister, david said you had a few leaks, thought it was a new tank ?

Just stick a cone filter on it.The chatter sounds well mint.

The pattern tank pissed itself last week, despite being only 2 years old. Had to buy a new one, gone for a Ford one. I can't sit down now.
