Clutch setting advice
Just bought an AP paddle clutch for the 3dr. Was going to fit it to the car tonight as the gearbox was off.
The clutch setting tool i have is one of these plastic Laser types with a collet and mandrel style system, whereby a bar is drawn through a split plastic shaft opening it into the hole and thus gripping
Trouble is that the clutch plate is so heavy that the plastic tool just isnt up to the job!! It just wont hold it stable enough for me to fit it. Anyone got a good way of setting heavy duty clutches such as this? Dont mind buying a tool if someone knows of a descent type, failing that any other idea's that wont cost me the earth!
Cheers!!
