I had been after a 22 mm RARB for some time; without success. So rather than wait any longer, we removed the rear bar from another Sapphire and had it copied in 22 mm. Here is the finished bar. Turned out pretty well.

Looks a good copy - how much did it cost to have made?
Luckily for us in UK, we can still pick up Scorpio/Escort Cosworth ones/Saph Cos 4x4 items relatively easily but i guess they must be extremely rare in Oz

The question though is what to change it to? No readily available OE thicker 2wd replacement I would guess for you living in Oz. Comp struts and a 909 set-up? Having said that looks like you have got someone handy to fabricate a thicker front one if you deem it necessary to get more front roll stiffness.

The high speed stability in particular is amazingly improved with the 22mm rear arb.

I got a 22mm adjustable one on the rear of my sapphy, you will need to tweak the front rear damp rate to get best, front arb is plenty stiff enough, may just need softening slightly on the front dampers.

Best way is try and see what suits you, and your driving style, don't go too stiff on dampers to try and combat roll though, will be very odd at the limit, I've intentionally left a little roll on mine, as I want grip, will just slide if too stiff.
