Default New oil pump - use old cover?

I've got a new 2wd pump from Goode but it didn't have a baseplete or the circular pipe guide a the top where it goes into the block. Assume I just use the old ones???

Baseplate is a little scored - not much but was wondering whether to have it refaced first??

I would face the cover, might as well while it's apart, depending on how deep the marks are could be done on a piece of greenhouse glass with valve lapping paste, but wouldn't cost much on mill, would only take a few mins.
