Default What shims to improve rear camber.

Just rebuilding the rear axle on my sapphire 2wd and was wondering if there is an easy solution to improve the rear camber for better acceleration and more even tyre wear? Are the ones from R&B motorsport the ones to get? cheers, leigh.

Yes R&B if you can't get an adjustable beam

The R&B ones are good esp for the money, make a noticeable difference, they reduce TOE owing to where fitted as this is the bad part about cossie suspension, camber won't slow it or give inner tyre wear toe(out) does.

Sounds good.Think il go for them then.Just want a bit more traction for when i turn the boost up.Only on stage 3 til i get it mapped but when the t4 spools up its a bit twitchy, and tyres dont last long. Do i need to fit longer bearing carrier bolts when the shims are fitted?

Using volkswagen/etc. shims you can get anyone to do this to your own spec:

I did a rear end resto last year so had the whole lot off and replaced everthing with new ie bushes, anti roll bar links and diff mount, i even upgraded to 4x4 anti roll bar, my m8 who has had many a cossie and now drives a M5 was so impressed with its straight line grip, he said he hasn't ever been in a 2wd cossie with the spec i'm running and so much grip still, it just squats and fucks off . I'm not saying its all down to the shims but more a combo of everything being new it just feels so tight even round corners at speed, rather than a sloppy worn out back end.
