As title i have a uprated diff mount i want to fit on my sapph and ive never done it before just wanted a bit of a guide on changing it it does look straight forward but i just want to make sure a few people have advised me of what you do but i dont want to keep bothering them if i have the car on ramps can i just chanf it like that or do i need to lift the complete rear end up support the diff etc i know its stuppid but i just want to make sure.

Any help would be much appreciated.

i think you might need a jack to support the diff but its an eay job half hour at most.

 

Defo best with a jack.
Reverse car up on ramps, take the weight of the diff with the jack, undo two bolts in centre of mount that go into rear of the diff/casing.
Loosen and take out the four bolts holding the support to the chassis x rail bit, reverse to re isntall the new one.

You might also wish to undo the rear anti roll bar if it gets in the way - undo the two bracket bolts and swing it out of the way
