whats the differance between inlet and exhaust cam?

hi,
as above?
spoke to a guy to day and saying he only has inlet cams and his other head only had inlet cams?
waiting to hear if it was running like that,

The inlet has a scroll on the bearing journals.

if your running vernier pulleys you can use inlets and exhausts where ever you want as you can time them anywhere on the key way..

You can with the std pulleys.
