Default cold start

hi just bought a 3 door its got a 4x4 engine loom ecu etc... in it its running great just doesnt seem to have any sort of cold start on it, when i first start i have to hold it about 2k rpm for a minute or so otherwise its very spluttery and cuts out but once its been running a couple of minutes it fine, what should i check first? its been stood for pretty much 2 years having only covered 342 miles in that time its had new plugs by the way

Sounds like the ISCV isn't working. Remove it and clean the bit that pretrudes into the manifold with brake cleaner or similar solvent, they get gunked up over time and fail, especially if parked up for some time.

As it's been stood I would invest in a new fuel filter, as well as fresh fuel, give it a few miles to get used to being used again first, might settle down, then check the CO according to the chip maker, confused as to why it has a management light working as didn't think L8(4wd) had this feature ?

A fuelling check is a good idea, on any car when modded, at least to start with, if it hasn't got a rewired fan loom and a rewired fuel pump loom, I would do these first, as they need doing anyway due to age/deterioration of the wiring, just save you a little bit if you do them first.
