You won't find a lsd in a pinto or twinky unless 4wd or cossie, but yes will fit in place of your one, there is a 1/2" width difference between the top mounts on some but easily rectified with a hacksaw or metal tubes as needed.

it will be easy if you have rear discs as the drive shafts will bolt straight on. If you have drums with push in shafts then it'll be a lot more work!

To be honest its probably easier to find a complete rear beam out of an xr4x4 or cosworth, beacause that will have disc brakes and an LSD and it will just be a straight swap with your rear beam. To convert yours from drums to discs you would need to find hubs, driveshafts, calipers and discs and by the time you've messed about finding some and fitting them, it would have been easier to find and fit a whole rear beam.
