No original cars were LHD , however one car was converted after by the owners request ,this car was for main land Europe , the Rsoc knew about this car many years ago , might be worth asking the registrar about it ,then again who knows what information was exchanged from previous reg to another .
chassis range for genuine Rs500's GG38600 - GG39099 ,if it dont fall in that range it aint a Rs500 .

the rs500 race cars were made up from shells bought from ford by individual teams and used rs500 parts that were homologated in early 1987, some of them were raced as normal 3 dr's first and then had the 500 parts added when they became homologated.
I think the first ggr 500 was converted from a 3 dr IIRC
