Hi

Is there anyone using a motec ecu on a cossie?If so who maps it

And how can I get a hold of the man who makes the 4x4 engine looms up "Ryan"??

Not that popular in the UK on Road going Cossie's but a good unit if one of the hundred models, the earlier M4 and M48 a older style unit now.

It's just that I have a M4 pro off a car I used to own "celica gt4" and thought I'll have fit it to my 4x4 saphhire

It will work and speak to ryan about a loom also.

arron at ht,racing is good with motec 01474 872888 i think thats the number

Motec have been used alot on rallycross and rallycars, so it`t can`t be that bad

The description I have is that for YB's the Motec is great but in actual fact there are a number of aftermarket ecu's that will run a YB, they are not that complex compared to other applications.

Where it differs is the level of diagnostics and tuning bits and data collection and analysis capability that actually works, these assist in tracking those hard to find issues, or in improving lap times or getting that last 5 % out.

When I fired up the ecu and data analysis software that stuff I understood what they meant....

I am guessing that is why you dont see so many on the road but more on the track and rally.

Depending on your use you choose your technology i guess.
