Hi chaps, does anyone know if ford made an optional extra alloy wheel for the sierra. it looks very similar to an rs 7 spoke from the escort turbo (series 1) and the rs 1600i, but the back of it is much different to these wheels they are a lot more shallower and so fit over wider brakes. Ive got 3 and need 1 more.

they are in 15 inch and a 4 stud. they have an et34 offset made by ronal. this is what the front looks like. they are not exactly the same as the series 1 as you might be able to tell.

looks like an xr4x4 wheel to me.

did they make them in 15 inch then? cos i have found millions on ebay listed as 14 inch items.

i'm pretty sure they did. i think it was for the later xr4x4 for the 15 inch, but dont quote me on that

Are they not just series one wheels? I know the RS1600i rim is similar, but it has the part no. raised out of one of the spokes...

no definately not series one wheels. ive tried fitting the series one wheels to it and over the front brakes they just hit the callipers. they would need 22mm spacers to fit due to the brakes.

right had a massive breakthrough with this. i Now know what these wheels are off. they are off a 1984 sierra xr8 which is cos i cant find any cos there so damn rare. they only made 250 of them which translates to at most 1000 wheels worldwide and thats only if owners have changed them for something new.

So does anyone know anyone with an xr8 (who might have a spare wheel) or who has a single wheel in which i can buy. I will pay well for it.

later 4x4 did have 15" wheels mate, but they where a totally different designe
