Default fuel pump rewire

Right ive seen the pic of it but im a little confused

Do i just use 1 of the original feeds as the trigger or is it both?

I know im being dumb so no 1 needs to tell me that

You just need to use the original live feed that goes to the pump, to instead go to your new relay.
I would earth the pump direct to the battery, this takes out any possible high resistance connections that way.

Good call... much better than scrubbing a bit of the boot floor and using a self-tapper!

I know, it amazes me the number of people who do that or take to the boot floor, so they can regain some of that lost high resistance!!.
