quickie - need some torque wrench settings please
Hi all
I need the torque setings (in lb/ft please) for:
I need the torque setings (in lb/ft please) for:
- Cam belt tensioner nut
- Front sub frame to chassis rail bolts
- Rear sub frame to chassis legs (the long bolt 7-8" which goes through the bush)
- Front wheel bearing nuts
- Rear wheel bearing nuts

1, ford term the cam belt tensioner as idler pulley, the stud into the head onto which the tensioner goes is screwed in 4.5-5.5 NM, tensioner nut 40-48 NM
2 Front subframe bolts 70-90 NM(52 to 66 lbft)
3 Rear subframe(beam) 20-25NM(beam to body) diff hanger diff bolts 40-50NM(diff hanger to body, 20-25NM)
4 Front wheel bearing nuts 229-258 lbft, 310-350NM
5 Rear wheel bearing nuts
