Default Cosworth recirc dump valve

Apollogies for yet ANOTHER bov thread

However I really need some advice from people in the know

I dont want this to turn into a ''we hate chav valves'' thread, just want some advice as I've heard alot of conflicting stuff about bov's

First of all, I will be fitting a re-circ, without a doubt as the constant pppssssssst pisses me off!...Problem is I have NO idea which one would be best....

Twin piston / single piston / diaphragm???..everyone seems to have different oppinions???

What I have heard is that cosworths like single piston bov's...is this rite???

The bov I'v been looking at buying is a Forge L007P..anyone had experience of these?

Car is running 358.3bhp, on a t34 and pace 500 cooler (and some MASSIVE shite looking bov thst looses boost )

Any advice much appreciated

The bog standard ford one would be fine, obviously plumbed in as it needs to be to get rid of the sound.

NO you will not lose any boost under load, unless the valve is knackered, as it will be shut, under load due to no differential pressure/vacuum to open valve.

Standard ford ones are unreliable though. Personally i'd get a bailey one. You can get them in black if you are anti bling

I wouldn't use overpriced bailey.
I just use a basic Collins diaphragm dv myself as I like the chavvy sound.

Some good advice here people, thanks!

I'm now looking into possibly getting a forge atmospheric or a ggr as I loved the sound from the forge atmo on my old impreza. Only reason I was thinking of a recirc is the stupid thing thats on the sapp now sounds like a toilet cistern filling back up!
