Hi mate, i think you`ll find these will rub. I wouldn`t go any bigger than 215/40/17 personally , and if its a 4x4 all four tyres must be the same size otherwise theres a possibility of knacking the diff up.
Hope this helps, woody

hmm bugger. i was after a slightly bigger sidewall. i've got a set of 205/40/17's and they look fookin tiny under the arches. can't really lower it as the road i live in has massive fook off speed bump's and my exhaust catches as is. i was hoping they'd be ok then i'd just have to buy 2 more.

they will be to big mate tried them on mine, let the jack down and they were almost touching the arch
go for 225 35 17 thats what I would go for If you have an 8" wide rim fill the arch well and not had them rub even 5 up

225/35 on a 8" rim is ideal

i think my rim's are 7.5 and et38 iirc.. pacwest it's a 4x4 cossie.
was just wondering as it would end up being a fair bit cheaper getting 2 tyre's instead of 4.

Dont think you will get 235/45 under the spring cups at the front tbh.
