Default Sapphire 4x4 radio antenna

Hi guys,

is there a box somewhere in my sapph 4x4 which converts the rear screen demister heater into a radio antenna? where would this be located? Does anyone know the part number or some sort of identification? I need to locate this if it exists and check it out my radio reception has gone horrible .
Radio tuner and wiring already checked OK. Rear screen demister works fine.

Thanks for help

I always fit a booster in the aerial lead as well as the one at the rear, much better then, only about £5 from Maplins etc.

As long as you've got a 12v feed to the red and white wire on the stereo loom, the rear window aerial amplifier should power up and work.

I thought my aerial amp was shagged - it just wasn't turned on because I hadn't connected it's power lead. Your stereo should have an 'antenna output', which is usually used to power a relay that raises electrically operated aerials - connect this to the red and white wire. Job done.
