No longer available my a--e
One problem about owning older cars is when the bits go obselete, not only is it disappointing but also annoying
faced with a slight hick up the other day whilst stripping down my car I was told that a certain heat shield that covers the turbo side engine mount was missing...... I didn't even know about this poxy part and guess what....... its no longer pigging available
I tried in vain to source a second hand item with no luck so other tactics were deployed.
Refusing to be beaten by this part I got my sister on the case, she lives and works in Germany, armed with the two original part numbers, one superseeded the other at one point she got on the case and found this on a shelf over there
No longer available my arse up yours Ford parts demon
Thanks Carol-Ann xxx you're a star

We've got access to the ford obsolete parts database and it happens quite often that dealers in europe are showing the parts you need in stock but when you email them about the parts, they never reply, proper frustrating at times!
