Default Doors on a saff

Hi, are the doors of a saff cosworth the same as those from other saffs or are they special. And is there any difference between the doors with power windows and those without them?

Doors are the same, some wiring is different and the handles inside are different between 2WD and late spec 4x4. If your just talking about the actual metal panel i.e. completely bare door excluding bolt on bits, then yes they are all the same.

as Rog says, the inside handle is different

I put doors off a K reg Azura onto my G reg Saph....... put all of my door trimmings back on and the very last screw I tried to put in would'nt go (release lever)

the hole the screw goes in is in a different place on newer doors (about 10mm higher I think)........ had to take all the trim back off to drill a hole in the right place

Think this was only on the front doors

.......

also I had a problem knocking the pin's out of the hinges on the G reg........ but on the K reg they knocked out easy

......

Rear doors........ little slot for the child lock is in the wrong place

vertical on one & horizontal on the other..... can't remember which way round it was
