hi guys
i have a spare t3 turbo and want to know it you can upgrade it some how or is it cheaper to just get a better one
im fitting a cosworth engine to my escort mk2 and want to get 350bhp to 400bhp
any help on turbos would be great

id keep the t3 would still make well over 300 with it, on greys, 3bar map, rs500 type intercooler, and a decent mapped ecu chip.

you can fit bigger compressor wheels; but you'd have to have the compresor housing machined to fit the bigger wheel, the turbine wheel is the biggest issue, as you'll be on a .48
personally its alot of pissing about, just get a t34.63 and sell the t3 (should fetch £90-£110 if in good order)

You could go down the root of having the turbo ported out alittle which would see a small gain in power whilst keeping it responsive but as above t34 is the best way to go for the power your after.
