Default 4x4 saff quick question airbox / cone filter

Just fittted a large k&n filter and removed the cars original air box , originaly there was a pipe coming from the kidney box breather system into the airbox & a small pipe from the amal valve also connecting into the airbox , Now the cone filters on odviously theres no were to connect these are they ok just venting to atmosphere? i hope so lol.........

the one from the amal valve hangs atmospheric, not too sure bout the one from the kidney box

Ok thanks m8 thats 1 down lol , any one else confirm that the breather hose from the kidney box is now ok to be left venting to atmosphere ?

Ive just fitted one to my 4x4 saff, one from amal valve into side of filter, the thick long black hose push into filter and let it vent to atmospher my just dangles down chassis leg.

The one from the kidney box if i remember correctly just vents oil vapour back into your air intake which i could never really figure out the gains as air is better being as clean as possible so just let vent to atmosphere

Vent to atmosphere, technically environmentally unsound. Like paying people to scrap 10 year old cars and buy new ones is environmentally sound LOL.
