Default fuel regulator

whats the best fuel pressure regulator you can buy for a cosworth my standard one is leaking has got a hair line crack in it. So need a new one..
Should i go for standard or aftermarket?

What power you running?

standard will do 500+ unless you want a bit of bling!

not to interested in how they look just what is best for the job.
am running 450bhp but am going to be doing a build soon.
Where is the best place to get a standard one from?

Bhp is irrelevant, it is there just to maintain pressure(if available from pump).

Yes but it is a good guide tho tabs as obviously if the guy was running 800hp then the standard reg would not be able to supply the required fuel

2wd or 4x4 sierra? As you can't get the 4x4 ones anymore...

I went aeromotive on mine because it makes aeroquipping very easy.

I got one from Graham Goode, it was a RS500 one, you just need to blank of one pipe that normally goes to the 2nd fuelrail.

the thing with std regs struggling to supply fuel is a myth, dont forget the regs dont actually supply anything!

the problem with the std reg in the end, is the fact they cant get rid of enough fuel down the return line, so you end up with excessive line pressure,

imo a good guide is, a single 044 pump will be best off on a std reg,
twin pumps etc will be flowing too much for them to deal with, and you need something bigger
