Default Dip stick tube

IUs there any thing i can use to seal the dipstick where it goes into the block?

I changed the oil couple of weeks ago in my 4wd saff and i now have some oil leaking which there was none before, the oil filters sealed correctly as has the sump plug.

It is coming from the dipstick tube, probably been made worse becuase sometimes when i check the opil the whole tube comes out cus thje o ring is quite tight.

Its meant to be a friction fit, but is there any selaent anyomne recommends? Ta

Best bet is to squash the tube a bit so it is a little bit oval, then it will be a tight fit, have to tap it in with hammer, put some sealant such as Loctite 5900 or 5910 around the outside of the tube first.
