am having trouble fitting the front wheels as they touching the suspension cups

they are 18'' with 215 35 tyres and are et 35...anyone had that sort of problem?how to sort it?

3mm spacer or tap the cups with a big hammer.

Hi mate like i said on the phone today the wheels must be wrong offset no way should u be hitting it with a hammer thats gash, mine are the same 1992 saph 4x4 8x 18 et 35 215 35 18 toyos bilstein suspension fit no probs check the pic.

Fit a set of coilovers and you'll lose that cup that sits on the strut

toyos have a more rounder edge noticed that on the rear of my s2 where other tyres rub toyos dont

i know what you mean mate.i cant understand why they wont fit..will be looking to get coilovers in the next few weeks..need to start on the bay asap

konis? they changed the design, early ones dont catch new ones do and need modifying about 5-6 years ago iirc

you dont seem to be having much luck lately .... like my brother says ,, i would not hammer the struts because it is rough and you want to do the job properly ... you will find coil overs will give a lot harder ride ... which might not be so good for jersey roads ... your car ,, your call .. seems strange yours dont fit ,, like ben porter says if u have konis looks like they have changed them ... dean has bilsteins.. dont know what to say mate because spacers aint ideal either ... you will sort it .... regards mark

I cant believe what some are u are saying hammer it cut it best i dont buy a car off u lot it will be two cars welded together even Dick Turpin wore a mask!!!!!!!!!!!!!

had the problem on mine and found out,that some dampers have another desing of the cup. The origlinal ones will rub on the wheel and koni ones gave a lot of clearance.
But as said, you can mod the old ones to make the fit
