Default Actuator

Hi, I fitted a new -31 actuator on my 3 door last night. I have set the rod to the same length as the old one that came off. Should that be OK?

you should pre load the actuator and then adjust the rod to until you get the right boost after each test run

Thanks guys, what do you mean by preloading the actuator and how is the amal valve adjusted?. I have just taken the car out and it seems to be fine. Can any damage be caused by leaving it as it is? Regards John.

if its running to much positive boost presure you run the risk of running lean or in the worst case bring on det. i would advise a set up as they can cost like £80 witch is money well spent conpaired to a rebuild IMO
