Default on board computer died

the door open and bulbs indicator on my 4x4 died yesterday, checked fuses- all fine. I have a spare unit but wondering if there is a relay or any common reason for these to fail?

Thanks

fuse 22 supplies power to the auxilary warning module which in turn drives the graphic warning display. or you could check the black and red wire on the connector that plugs in the the graphic display for power.
see how you get on.

yeah thats me,we have our own group now "rsoc leinster group" anyway if you need any info for the car you could not have picked a better site than passionford, or for closer to home theres a good few lads on the ireland site with similar info or give me a pm or whatever.why dont you register an say hello.
if any of us are stuck we usually if need be lend out bits and pieces to confirm unit failures, saves you blowing a fortune taking a chance just to see if a unit is bust.
any luck with the graphic display

There are two modules, the warning module behind the passenger kick panel and the bulb outage one behind the driver kick panel, I think they are in same places on 4x4 as well.

On a 4x4 one sits behind the driver side kick panel and one sits behind the storage compartment thingy above the glove box

Ya, I'm on it duran224! Graphic display seems to be working again!! gave the connection a few wiggles and its working so we'll see might get a spare unit anyhow (the one on the passenger side)
