Default clutch cable and rear main oil seal?

as above can anyone tell me best place to get them from?
the clutch is a alcon paddle clutch.
is it worth changing the oil seal while the box is out?

also my power steering feels heavy, plenty of fluid in it, or is it because i dont use the car that often? and my daily driver has got real light steering

The power steering on my 2wd Sapphire certainly has more feel and weight than something like a 3-series BMW - remember the Sierra rack is a fair bit quicker so it would need more assistance to feel the same weight as a car with a slower ratio

I would change the seal whilst you are there. They do go and its an easy job if the box is out already.

I would give Matt Lewsi a ring first, 01543 484488, if not still get them at ford afaik.
For the rear seal I would try and get a Viton, massively tougher and better.

If you've got EBAy capability, Matt Lewis delivers them to the door for Ł25 all inclusive

Don't get used to it, as they don't stay that way too long, the teflon sheath surrounding the inner cable chafes and starts jamming up the cable!!

I have to get them from a seal supplier by number, the 3 set number on the seal itself.
They're good seals and are designed for high temp work, but around 2-3 times the cost of std ones.
This is inside diametre outside diametre width, unfortunately not all sizes are available, as mainly used on industrial machinary.
I don't know the seal number of this so can't even say if available.
