Default Prop shaft doughnut

Can the rubber doughnut thingy in the middle of the propshaft be replaced??

The guibo can certainly be replaced. I would prefer to remove it entirely and replace it with universal joint(s) as I have.

The guibo reduces shock loading for transition traction. Gravel to tarmac, wet tarmac to dry etc. Long term it reduces load on the diff and makes for a smoother drive. I notice no difference with mine gone.

I've had enough of them throw a chunk at speed resulting in massive vibration to never want one again. Plus once replaced you must zero the driveshaft runout so that it doesn't prematurely fail.

I say delete it.
