Default french saphir cosworth 4x4

Hi ,

I don t speak english very well but..

Im french and im 29years old, I have just finish to rebuild my engine.

Today i have a problem with the intercooler fitting

Its a brand new radtec that i have since two years ago.

There is not enough space between the intercooler and the bottom oh the headlight????

can you help me

hi,if its an rs500 style it sits between radiator and lights,top of intercooler ends up behind lights,should be threaded holes for it,col93saphcos

hi; your english is fine

the intercooler should fit infront of the radiator

if you look under the car at the chassis legs you will see 2 spare bolt holes ready to use (directly infront of where the radiator bolts up)

i assume you have this intercooler?

Your english is better than my french, even though I drove there for years!!
As said it is a bloody tight squeeze, but follow the advice and there won't be any problems, pf helps anyone, even the scots!!

had a simelar problem were i had to move the intercooler backwards.

I found out I had a XR4Ti intercooler what is larger in size but needs some work to get into a cosworth.

Including hybrid hose on hot side.

I wonder if the LHD headlamps are a different design perhaps?
