Default 17" tyres on a 4x4 saph??

what does everybody go for? i've got a set of tsw evo's that are et40. at the mo there's 205/40's on them. i think that that 40 look's far to small in the side wall. is it ok to go up to a 205/45 or 215/45 tyre? would i have any prob's with these sizes?

You'll get a vast difference of opinion on this one mate, My rims are 7jx17 et35 and I have always run with 205/40's

i've got a full set of 40's on at the mo. i just think the sidewall look's to small. i've not fitted them to the car yet. it's running at standard height an i just think that it's gonna look outta proportion when there on..

Had 205 40's on my saff, sidewall didn't look that small ? maybe it depends on the tyre ?. 215 40 rge side wall is the same unless you go 45.
