I want to put 8x17 wheels on my saph, but I'm afraid about the arches. I think they will need some work to cope with the wheels. Also which tyres can I put on them ?
215/45 ZR17
225/45 ZR17
Or any other dimension ? The best would be 225/40 ZR17 but unsure if there is any company doing them.

Depends if your car is 2wd or 4x4, also the offset of the wheels.
I run 8x17 RL7s on my saph and only the front archs are rolled. Thats with 215/40/17 on the front and 235/40/17 on the back. You will need to run the same size tyres if your car is 4x4.
Also i am fairly sure 45 profile tyres wont fit on the front unless you are running coilovers, this is because the tyre will hit the spring cups.

Yes the car is a 4WD and I run bilstein big 50mm group N coilovers at the front and mag group A at the rear. ![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
I'm afraid that with arches rolling I will have to re-paint some parts of the body...

35 would be good for arche clearance, but its just too low, and driving on bump roads won't be nice with hard coilovers. I would prefer 40 or 45. The best will be to see on car I think.
