yeah i know, but i wouldnt fail(as long as the wife has put out the night before) a car if it came in with them, would you?

I'm really not sure tbh chap.....if we were to phone up vosa they would just say it clearly states in the manual that if its missing its a fail. It's sommot to be asked when I have my next refresher though.

i once had an old beat up l200,the front uj on the propshaft was knackered, the tester told me to go and take it off then bring it back,if he didnt see it he couldnt fail it.that guy was brand new,he got shafted when a workmate needed his rotten rs turbo mot,ed.he passed it on the understanding that he would weld a new xmember in.he swapped it for a corsa the next week, then the guy went to the ministry about his newly mot,ed rotten rs.the tester was sacked and the station lost its license for doing tests.and it was a kwik fit branch that this happened.

Cheers Dan - we could do a comparison of before and after if you want?

I'll be interested to see how easy they fit though

Cheers
