If we are on about the bit that i am thinking of i just drilled the hole out to m6 tapped a thread into the hole and shaped an m6x20 bolt into the shape of the pin and set it into the hole with threadlock.Had no bother in a few miles
Went to ford 18 months ago for one,they gave me the one listed for a t5 and it was bigger and completely different! Easy enough to make if you have a lathe and an old one to copy.
