I got mine from RHOcar, but he hasn't any left.
The toe-ins come from R&B.

There's a link in a post above, with a German motorsportstore who can still get them.

Still haven't fitted mine, too cold outside

I can, it's a lot of blabla, what they mean is this, here ya go:

These shims correct the toe out and negative camber provided by lowering the rear, causing bad tire wear and bad handling.
These plates are mounted between the rear hub and beam, and provide better handling and less wearing.

They're the one in most lower picture, the plates in colour like mine in the post above.

Edit: these:

Those shims they sell rule, because they also correct the toe-out.
Mine don't.

It is
And it's too cold, and I have too little time.

But it's almost spring, so don't think it'll take more then a month before they're fitted

i think i need a set of these...

anybody have these fitted with only a small reduction in ride height ie; 25 - 30 mm? are they still effective?

do they mainly reduce tyre wear or does the car handle noticably better after fitting?

i know they cost next to nothing - its just if i can can be bothered to fit them

cheers

The shims that I sell adjust BOTH the toe AND the camber. Just put them on and you can physically see the difference.

From the factory the rear beam runs at parrallel, but because of the amount of bush deflection you get, this immediately reverts to toe-out in forward motion, which wears the inside of the tyres. Combined with the excessive camber that naturally occurs on the Cossies under squat, this DOUBLY compounds the issue. These shims that I do give a degree of static toe-in, which with bush deflection reverts to the parrallel that the factory was aiming for . At the same time, the shims reduce the negative camber, which puts more tyre in contact with the tarmac and increases traction . Obviously it does not remove the camber changes that are caused by the arc that the rear beam proscribes in it's up and down movement, but it is as good as you can get without the expense of a fully adjustable 6° beam.

Hope this helps.

Would fitting 2 sets help more or is your shim the optimum thickness Mike R? I ask as i have seen some that are several MMthick that are mounted in the same way, yours are much thinner items.

Changed my nick, but still the same car.
Although I still didn't mount them, pretty soon it will happen I think.
Will wait till after the Dutch MOT, April 28th, dunno if they make a problem about the shims.

Anyone DID mount them, and have pics?

I am curious about this mod. is there an www for this company? phone?
or maybe a do it yourselfer? I am very capable of something like this.
I did a google search and I didnt pull up an exact match to that company name.

what I did to correct my bad tire angle, was to just use some large washers. they work perfectly after I put my subwoofer in the back.
Here is a small write up I did (bottom of page) http://turboflush.net/howto_s_01.htm

unfortunately no. The two I have is of how bad the angle was, and then later after I changed the wheels and rims I remembered to take a picture of it corrected.
I was so in the moment and trying to figure out how I was going to do this task that I totally forgot to take a picture. funny part is that the washers that I used worked perfect. next time I am in that area that deep (brake upgrade) I will take some step by step pics.

I wonder now though if my old rear suspension had the shims in it, if not, then how it was corrected, unfortunately I did not know that the alignement was so messed up.
